What is the Arrows Program?

The Arrows Youth Program is We Love White County’s vision for empowering the youth and their families in our community. We believe that youth play a vital role in community revitalization, and we want to create a solid foundation built on faith, hope, love, and service. Each student has the potential and the opportunity to grow in their identity as a unique and empowered member of God’s good purpose for the Carmi community. Through their participation in the Arrows Program, students are provided wrap-around care and equipped with the social, academic, spiritual, and physical assets that will empower them to be agents of change in their community.

The Arrows Program is tailored to equip students to be agents of change in a thriving community through the following initiatives:

  • Acedemic Enrichment

    • Supervised independent learning

    • Critical thinking activities

    • Access to STEM resources (3-D printers, computer lab, etc.)

  • Social Enrichment

    • Service learning and activities 

    • Opportunities for collaboration and leadership building

  • Spiritual Enrichment

    • Weekly guided small group Bible study

    • Integrated spiritual curriculum in programming

    • Monthly family fellowship events

  • Physical & Mental Wellness

    • Recreation activities on new planetarium

    • Soft sustainability and self-sufficiency skills through consumer science activities

    • Access to full sports gymnasium on cite

The Seed Station

Any given day at the Seed Station has the potential to be remarkable, and we have been blessed to witness God’s steady hand at work in the lives of the Arrows students and their families through the regeneration of hearts, the restoration of hope, and the transformation of the community one life at a time.
